Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo Review
We bought this for my daughter when she was about 4 1/2 months old, and she was tiny in it but still enjoyed it even though she couldn’t reach much at first (we put a yoga mat under her feet so she could move a bit). Now that she’s 6 months this is by far her favorite thing and she would bounce in it for an hour if we let her. She plays with all the animals and jumps like crazy. the music can be turned off or has two volume levels which is nice when you start to get sick of it, although its definitely not as annoying as some other kid music. The music also has 2 settings – constant or motion activated which teaches them cause & effect. Even at 4 months she quickly figured out the music came on when she moved something. the jungle theme is fun. It doesn’t take up as much space as I thought it would. the hanging animals are adjustible – sometimes we move them down so she can grab them, but we often move them up when she’s busy jumping. This toy is a lifesaver when you want to get some lunch or do something in the house – keeps her completely occupied. She growls and laughs and squeals with delight in this thing – its so fun to watch. I like that it has all the spinaround toys of an exersaucer but it’s a jumper and it’s a safe one – not the doorway kind. We use this way more than anything else – especially our swing which is gathering dust. AWESOME TOY. you can find them cheaper on craigslist if you luck out and find one in good shape.

Its newly designed frame allows you to opens it up from the top, and lets the seat rotate 360 degrees so baby can play and interact from any side. A fun seat and toys at five locations on the platform engage baby all the way around, and an electronic toy at the front has motion, music and lights that can be activated by baby spinning a drum. Seat also features a bobbling elephant, a monkey swinging from a vine, a parrot hanging from a bead bar, a clear spinning bead ball, a tiger that plays hide and seek, a spinning lizard that makes rattling sounds, a tethered chew toy and a stack of chips with cute graphics for baby to explore. Two soft leaves extend from the frame to create an overhead ‘canopy’ with soft toys that dangle down for fun bat-at play. Jumperoo has has three height adjustments for extended use. Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1CN2C2P4KTI92 My daughter was very alert for her age and had complete neck control by 3 months…she was very bored with her bouncer and it would make her angry because she could not be upright. I wanted to find her a new form of entertainment so i could still do house work with both hands, i decided to show her this one day at the store. I held her up to look at it and shook the display model she immediately reached for the lights and kept trying to get to them…well i wanted to make sure this is what i wanted to spend all my money on, i hoisted her up into it. She played happily for 20 minutes until it was time to go, when i pulled her out all she did was keep reaching back, it was then i knew the price was worth it.
My one and only complaint is that there should be a fourth adjustment, for younger and shorter kids…for the first two months i stuck various objects underneath in order for her to reach and be able to jump. At 5 months old now she is just able to reach perfectly. She loves the exercise and i love the freedom.

Most musical baby toys are terrible. The songs are poorly arranged and annoying as hell. This box plays enjoyable tones and tunes that baby can mix and match to create either a fuller orchestra sound or solo instrumentation. I bought this toy for my baby niece and she has loved it since about 4 mos on (she will be 1 soon). It is fun yet low key, durable, and as long as the batteries aren’t dying it sounds great! I highly recommend this toy as an early intro to music for your small child.
